Whether you go for the 10K or the 10-mile option, you’re guaranteed a brilliant experience. Like in previous years, every step you take will support the vital work of Essex and Herts Air Ambulance.
All adult finishers will receive a 2025 technical t-shirt and a medal, while children’s race participants will be awarded a medal to celebrate their achievement.
For UK Athletics affiliated members, entry is £25 (please have your UKA number to hand), and for non-affiliated runners, it’s £27. Entry for the children’s race is free.
Both races will take place on Sunday, 6th July 2025.
The 10 Mile Race starts at 9:30am and the 10km Race starts at 9:45am.
Both races start and finish on the playing field for the Allenburys & County Hall Cricket Club. The playing field is adjacent to the River Labs Car Park and will be well sign-posted on the day.
Ware is located just off the A10, which connects to the M25 at junction 25. Ware train station is about a 15-minute walk from the venue, with links to Broxbourne, Tottenham Hale, and Liverpool Street stations.
Entries close Wednesday 18th June 2025, or earlier if full. Limited on-the-day entries may be available.

Race numbers can be collected the day before (Saturday, 5th July) from the Ware Joggers stall at the Ware Festival located at the Ware Priory or Race HQ on the morning of the event. Unfortunately, race numbers cannot be posted.

This event follows UK Athletics Rules.
Participants must be 17+ on race day.
Due to road conditions, only bone-conduction headphones are allowed; all other headphones are prohibited (Rule 240 S 5 UKA).
No dogs, pushchairs, or buggies.
Bibs must be displayed, and runners must compete under their registered name.
All runners must finish by 12:30 pm.
Rule breaches or failing to follow marshal instructions may result in disqualification.

The race headquarters and car park open at 7:45am The car park closes from 9:15-9:50am .
Car parking is available at the River Labs Car Park, Park Rd, Ware SG12 0GX
Car sharing or alternative transport is encouraged.
Please avoid parking on residential roads.
The course covers farm tracks, parkland, a short residential road, and towpaths, making road shoes suitable. There will be no road closures, with parts of the route on side roads. Be prepared for short grassy sections that may be muddy if wet.

Award presentations begin at approx. 11:30am. Prizes include:

The Race Director will contact unclaimed prize winners if they miss the presentation.
Hot and cold drinks, cakes, and snacks available in the event village. Cash preferred, though cards are accepted. We cannot guarantee allergen-free food.
The free bag drop is available from 8:00am and monitored throughout the race. However, we are not responsible for lost items.
Toilets are available at Race HQ. First aid stations are located at Race HQ and along the course.
Water stations are positioned along the course. Runners should ensure they’re fully hydrated before the race and may wish to carry extra water in hot weather.
While we cannot offer refunds or deferrals, we provide a convenient transfer and distance change option. You can easily manage this using the registration confirmation email link. Follow the instructions to transfer your entry to another runner or switch to a different distance. If transferring, please coordinate any payment directly with the recipient.
For participants under 18, a parent or guardian must handle the transfer.
Race HQ is accessible. Please contact the Race Director if you require assistance. Unfortunately, we cannot provide guides or sign language interpreters.
