Registration is completed via racesonline, which processes data and payments securely. For children’s races, registration is processed via Google Forms.
Registration is only valid once full payment has been received.
Entry Fees:
UKA-affiliated participants: £25
Non-affiliated participants: £27
Participants must provide their UKA membership number at registration to qualify for the affiliated fee.
Entrant Limit: The adult race is limited to 650 entrants. Once the limit is reached, no further entries will be accepted.
No refunds will be issued except under circumstances outlined in the force majeure clause.
Privacy Policy: Your data will be processed in accordance with our [Privacy Policy](#) and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). Please review the policy for full details.
Access to Your Data: Participants can access, request rectification, or request deletion of their data by contacting us at support@ware10s.co.uk.
Contact information will only be used to provide race information and related communications for Ware10s events. We do not share data with third parties except racesonline and their payment processors.
For children’s races, all personal data will be deleted within one month of the event. Only the child’s name and race group will appear on race documentation.
3. Accessibility and Inclusivity
Ware10s is committed to making the event accessible to all. If you require accommodations (e.g., for disabilities), please contact us at accessibility@ware10s.co.uk at least 30 days before the event.
By entering the event, participants confirm that:
They are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake the event and understand the inherent risks involved.
They agree to exercise reasonable care to avoid causing harm to others and will indemnify the organisers against any liabilities resulting from negligent actions.
They are familiar with, and agree to abide by, the UK Athletics (UKA) Rules for Competition, including the UKA Anti-Doping Rules.
Medical personnel may provide necessary treatment during the event, but participants accept responsibility for undisclosed medical conditions.
Participants confirm their ability to complete the event and waive liability against the organisers, officials, sponsors, and landowners for any injury, illness, or property loss.
The event takes place in natural environments with inherent risks, such as uneven terrain and public road crossings. Participants accept these risks.
Participants must comply with event rules, marshal instructions, and UKA standards.
Deferrals and refunds are not allowed unless specified under force majeure conditions.
Participants may transfer their place or change their event distance using the link in their registration email. It is the participant's responsibility to arrange payment with the transferee, if applicable.
Transfers for minors must be arranged by the legal guardian.
All participants must provide an emergency contact during registration. This information will be used only in case of an emergency during the event.
Event details, including route maps, rules, and updates, will be available on [www.ware10s.co.uk](#) and emailed to participants at least one week prior to the event.
Participants are responsible for reviewing all event information and adhering to any updated guidelines.
By registering, participants consent to the use of their name, voice, and images in event promotions and related materials without compensation.
Best efforts will be made to avoid using identifiable photographs of children where consent has not been granted. Parents can opt out by contacting childrensraces@ware10s.co.uk.
Volunteer photographers will be present, and public photography cannot be fully controlled. Organisers take no responsibility for public use of images.
Parents or legal guardians registering children accept the following:
Children will follow race rules and marshal instructions.
Participation is at the parent/guardian's risk, and the organisers accept no liability beyond negligence-related injury or loss.
Medical treatment, including anaesthesia, may be administered in emergencies with the parent/guardian's consent.
Safeguarding procedures are in place in line with UKA’s Safeguarding Policy.
In the event of force majeure (e.g., extreme weather, government restrictions), the organisers may cancel or reschedule the event. Refunds will not be provided for cancellations under such circumstances.
All participants must behave respectfully towards other competitors, marshals, and spectators. Offensive or unsafe behaviour may result in disqualification.
Participants are expected to minimise waste and respect the natural environment during the event. Any littering may result in disqualification.
The event is insured under UKA’s public liability insurance policy. However, participants are advised to arrange personal insurance for individual injuries or property loss.
Feedback and complaints may be submitted via support@ware10s.co.uk within 14 days after the event. We aim to respond within five working days.
Ware10s officials reserve the right to refuse or revoke entry at their discretion for breaches of these terms or inappropriate behaviour.
Participants must follow any health protocols in place at the time of the event. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.
Lost items will be held for 30 days after the event. Contact support@ware10s.co.uk to reclaim items.
UKA Permit Number: This event is held under a UK Athletics permit number 28880.
Headphones Policy: In accordance with UKA rules, the use of headphones that cover both ears is prohibited for safety reasons on open roads.
Medical Support: Qualified first aid personnel will be available on-site during the event.
